Things people ask Shane
Is my old tackle actually worth anything?
Often, yes - and sometimes more than you'd expect. Good vintage reels, wooden centrepins and split cane rods can fetch hundreds of pounds. If it's worth good money, I'll tell you straight and pay it. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
Do you really come to me for free?
Yes. I travel anywhere in Surrey or Hampshire, take a look, and there's no charge and no obligation whatsoever. If you decide not to sell, that's absolutely fine.
I'm clearing a late relative's things and don't know where to start.
You don't need to know what any of it is - that's my job. Take it at your own pace, and I'll explain what's there and what it's worth, piece by piece. If you'd rather I simply take care of the whole lot in one visit, I will.
How do you pay?
Cash on the spot, or an instant bank transfer if you'd prefer a record of it - whichever suits you. You're paid in full before I take a single item away.
